Introduction
A person walking in the promised abundant life displays extreme integrity and unusual courage. They know who they are in Christ and their identity in Him influences all they do. The world-changer life is one of fullness of joy and strength of mind. This is the type of life that Jesus came to earth and displayed for us. He says in Scripture that He came so we may have abundant life. Is this the life you wake up to every morning? Joyous? Adventurous? Courageous? Few of us do.
“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy.
I came that they may have and enjoy life,
and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].”
John 10:10 AMP
It stands to reason that if Jesus stepped out of heaven to give us the chance to live like this then when we fully walk out the abundant life, it pleases Him. Tell me, is there anything you wouldn’t do to please Him? I hope you answered, “No!” I hope that you can easily say there is no part of your life, yourself even, that you’d hold back from the One who gave you His everything. Because you’ll need to have this heart attitude if you want to change the world.
Most people in our world, in our generation, have yet to meet a man or woman fully walking out the abundant life. One who is fully surrendered, fully living in all the power and authority that the Church has been given by the only One who has the ability to do so, Jesus. Maybe it will be you! Maybe that’s the call on your life, to show those around you a life lived in the fullness of the power and presence of God Almighty. A life that can’t help but change all those it touches.
This is the life I want to live because it’s a life worthy of the God who calls us His own.
BIBLE READING:
Before you move on to the first World Changer Key, you’re going to do some Bible reading. You’ll be assigned chapters of the book of Acts as you work your way through this course. Acts is the record of the very first spirit-filled world-changers to ever walk the earth. We can learn a lot from these disciples, many of whom walked closely with Jesus for years and also experienced life as born-again believers after His ascension.
I won’t ask you to discuss your reading. Your time spent in Acts is for you and the Lord alone. Lean in, listen, ponder, believe, and let Him do the teaching. Holy Spirit is the best teacher.
Before moving on please read Acts chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4.
